The beginning...

Ok... so I know a few people that have blogs and I love reading them. I guess I just love reading what everyone is up too these days. I have always wanted to start a blog but was not sure what I would write about. But since getting engaged in April, I felt now I have lots of stuff to share with everyone. I thought that this would be a great way for our friends and family to keep up with us. I will be sure to try and post every exciting thing that goes on in our lives. I am not sure how many people will read this but I thought I would give it a try.

Recently I have been crazy busy... I am still working full time at Children's Mercy South hospital in the Urgent Care. I love it. I never was sure what I wanted to do with my life until I got a job there. It is starting to get pretty busy at work with the winter months approaching. I am also going to school at JCCC. I will eventually get into Nursing School and become a RN. I can't wait till that happens. I am also a nanny one day a week for the most adorable little twin boys. I work with there mommy and I love seeing them grow every week. It is also great birth control for me! Haha!

Ryan has been quite busy too. He is currently student teaching in the KCK school district. He is teaching 3rd grade and he loves it. Ryan grew up in Olathe so it is very different for him to see what the inner city KCK school district is like. The school year has been a roller coaster so far. It has been pretty stressful from writing the millions of lesson plans to losing a student to a drowning accident. It has really tested his profession. He is a great teacher and I know that all this will pay off in the end. He will graduate in December.... 88 days till graduation... I think.

As for the wedding... We have got the major plans figured out! The wedding is June 5, 2010. It seems forever away but I know it will fly by. Be sure to check out our wedding website at http://www.mywedding.com/ryancolstonspenserkultala/.

I think that is all for now!
More to come...
